It was another fantastic year in Milan, with big news happening across the Lings group among all our brands. First up, we bring you the release on the all new 5 new Honda models! Let’s take a quick look through what you can expect to see in our showrooms for 2019:

With a variety of competition this year for retro classic bikes, Honda now brings its unique ‘Neo Sports Café’ look to the middleweight arena. The in-line four-cylinder engine is proudly displayed on the bike, leaving the signature round headlight and famously prominent fuel tank underline the ‘Neo Sports Café’ family feel.

Some of its features are:

  • 41mm Showa upside-down ‘Separate Function’ forks
  • Radial-mount four-piston front brake calipers
  • Honda Selectable Torque Control
  • Assist/slipper clutch
  • Ultra-modern instruments

Introducing to the sports middleweight class is the all new, long awaited CBR650R!

Drawing closely on the CBR1000RR Fireblade, remains is its sharp, aggressive body work and famous extended side fairings. Lighter than it’s predecessor (CBR650F) with a sportier riding position thanks to handlebars repositioned and footpegs altered for an enhanced experience. Super-short rear section and narrow dual LED headlights are featured on this machine too.

Its in-line four-cylinder engine revs 1,000rpm higher, producing 5% more top end power with peak output of 70kW arriving at 12,000rpm. 35kW conversions will be available for both the CB650R and CBR650R. All we could have wished for!

A2 licence-friendly CB500F, CBR500R and CB500X are all ready for 2019!

Upgraded packages with higher specifications and stronger roadster, sport and adventure identities; these all new additions to the lightweight middle class league have been the breath of fresh air we’ve all been awaiting within the market.

  • All three models now include:
  • New rear suspension technology
  • Assist/slipper clutch
  • Full LED lighting
  • Modernised LCD instruments with gear position and shift-up indication

New dual-exit muffler (for a richer engine note)

Whilst the CB500F roadster retains its sharper new styling from front to back, the CBR500R is re-styled; with a narrower and sharper Fireblade infused styling and a sportier riding position.

The CB500X compact adventurer, meanwhile, has a much stronger ‘X factor’ thanks to a new 19” front wheel, longer suspension travel front and rear, slimmer seat, wider steering angle and tougher, more rugged fairing which also improves wind protection.

The all new and improved CBR500R, originally released in 2013 has upon the eye a few new features for 2019 that we’re stoked about. With it’s cockpit fully kitted for a supersport experience, you’ll feel like you’re on a track with its fully faired frame giving it a more aggressive look and extended lower fairings that emphasise a real sense of speed.

  • Aggressive new lines with purposeful, dual LED headlights
  • Narrower seat pad and seat unit
  • Narrower side fairings
  • Aerodynamically efficient and ergonomically comfortable
  • Re-sited clip-on handlebars give a sportier riding position
  • New LCD instrument display, with Gear Position and Shift Up indicators
  • LED indicators
